Sleep apnea can get in the way of a good night’s sleep for both you and your partner. Between loud snoring and repeated bouts of waking up, a full night of sleep can seem almost impossible. With Inspire, a sleep apnea innovation, a good night’s sleep can finally be achieved. Through an outpatient procedure, Inspire is implanted and can be turned on when you’re ready for bed. While you’re sleeping, Inspire will actively keep your airways open, allowing you to breathe easily and get a full night of sleep.

A Sleep Apnea Innovation
Inspire is the only implanted sleep apnea treatment to be approved by the FDA, making it a safe choice for treatment. Inspire helps treat the root cause of sleep apnea rather than the symptoms. CPAP machines are the most common sleep apnea treatment but require the use of a mask, hose, and bulky machine. Inspire uses a small device that is controlled by you. When you’re ready for bed, turn Inspire on with the touch of a button, and let the device begin to work its magic. When you wake up, you can turn Inspire off the same way, and start your day with ease.
The Inspire Procedure
Inspire is placed under the skin of the neck and chest. This is done through a short outpatient procedure that requires two small incisions. The incisions are placed beneath the chin and near the collarbone. The procedure leaves minimal scarring and allows patients to resume most regular activities within a few days. After the procedure, the Inspire device will be turned on, and you’ll be able to begin sleeping peacefully.

How it Works
Once the device is implanted, you will be given a small remote to turn it on and off. When you’re ready to fall asleep, just click the button to turn Inspire on. Inspire will then begin gently stimulating the airway muscles, which will keep you breathing normally. While Inspire is working, there is no noise, so you’ll be able to enjoy a quiet night of sleep. After your full night of sleep, simply click the same button, and then you’ll be able to go about your day.
What Makes Inspire Different?
- No bulky machines
- No masks or hoses
- No noisy treatments
- FDA-approved treatment
- 90% of bed partners report their partners are no longer snoring after Inspire.
- 96% of patients say Inspire is better than CPAP and would recommend it to others.
Inspire Fits into Your Life
CPAP machines can be bulky, with multiple pieces. This can cause them to take up a lot of room on your nightstand and be challenging to travel with. Inspire only requires a small remote that fits easily on your nightstand, in your suitcase, or even in your pocket. The remote only requires 2 AAA batteries, so you’ll be able to travel lightly without bulky machines, chargers, or masks. CPAP machines also require cleaning and maintenance, unlike Inspire which just requires replacement batteries.
