Ingredients Needed

Vanilla ice cream — Store-bought or homemade.

Whole milk

Vanilla cupcake — Store-bought or homemade.

Liquor —Optional if you want a boozy shot. Any liquor works. For something light and almost tasteless, opt for vodka. A caramel-flavored liqueur will highlight the caramel sauce. A bourbon also pairs well with the caramel.

Caramel sauce

Whipped cream — Optional for garnish

Gold sprinkles — Optional to rim the shot glasses

How to Make Salted Caramel Milkshake Shots

1 — Prep the shot glasses: Dip the rims of your shot glasses into a shallow dish of caramel sauce to coat the edges. Then, carefully dip the caramel-coated rims into a dish of gold sprinkles, allowing the excess to fall off.

2 — In a blender, combine vanilla ice cream, milk caramel sauce, milk, cupcake and liquor (if using). Blend until smooth and well combined.

3 — Pour a dab of caramel to each glass.
