Where is the best place to farm giant eggs wow classic? ›

For anyone having trouble finding these Giant Eggs, a really good place to try farming is in Tanaris at the coordinates /way Tanaris 44.70 40.36 and in any of the surrounding spots that Fire Rocs spawn in nearby.

The Primitive Owlbeasts in The Hinterlands are quite reliable for Giant Eggs. Nearly every single one dropped one for me! (Compared to half an hour killing Rocs in Tanaris and not a single drop.) My favourite place to hunt them is around 28,58 and 46,57.

Giant Egg can be looted from most level 41-60 Beast, and Humanoid monsters, particularly those that fly like Rocs. Your best source for killing these is the Savage Owlbeast in the Hinterlands.

The egg is guarded by 3 level 50 - 51 elite trolls that walk a tight circle around the egg. I soloed this as a level 52 Paladin using engineering to assist me. I rode into Jintha'alor on my mount and ran into the cave. I made it to the room with the egg in the back of the cave before finally dieing.

Just go east of Aerie Peak, maybe a little southeast, and there are TONS of owlbeasts that drop Giant Eggs.

GO south from Freewind Post till you run SMACK into canyon wall, THEN go west along side the wall till BAMMMMM, EGG FOUND. Easy as that!

My best advice so far is to go to Stranglethorn Vale and get it off the raptors, mostly above lvl 30.

Most notable Uldaman, Zul'Farrak & Scarlet Monastery. A lot of these Dungeons will give you a steady 200-300 gold per hour mixed between raw gold, professions & auctionable materials, as well as having the chance to drop items worth lots of gold.

Layer 9 is the "sweet spot" for farming Tower Knowledge if behind. Layer 9 gives 50% more Tower Knowledge then Layer 8, but the HP increase from Layer 8 to Layer 9 is a good bit less then 50%. Layer 10 only gives ~20% more Tower Knowledge then Layer 9, but the HP increase is a bit more then 20%.
